Zuma voted SA's sexiest politician

Jacob Zuma is South Africa's sexiest politician, while Julius Malema might struggle for a date, according to a survey released yesterday.

"The snap survey, measuring personality appeal beyond rhetoric and electioneering, shows that image-makers and stylists may have their work cut out if elections were fought on sex appeal alone," said Roshika Doolabh of Sexpo.

It seems Zuma's theme song, Awuleth' uMshini wam', adds a certain phallic element.

The second placing was neck and neck, with Cope leader Mosiuoa Lekota edging out former president Thabo Mbeki. His high placing suggests women love a man with a brain.

This might be what counted against Malema; the ANC Youth League leader topped the poll for least sexy South African in politics.

Next on the unsexy list were sharp dressers DA MP Ryan Coetzee and ANC MP Tony Yengeni. - Sapa
