Parents can register their children this week for the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Tricycle and Junior Tours to be held on Saturday at Youngsfield Military Base in Ottery.
Registration is open at Canal Walk's centre court until Friday from 9am to 9pm.
The R40 entry fee is cash only, and parents who have entered online can collect race numbers at Canal Walk.
The Junior Bike and Tricycle tours are family orientated, and parents are encouraged to accompany children and uneasy riders around the track.
While parents register, their children will be entertained by the Cape Argus mascot, Argie, and Max the Dinosaur.
Spur Steak Ranches will have a special colouring-in area for children, and Influence Clothing will exhibit the latest cycling wear for young riders.
The organisers said the Tricycle Tour was "a wonderful way of introducing the sport of cycling to youngsters aged from two to six".
A strict "no helmet, no ride" rule will apply on the track.
