Tony Leon's race card bluff has been called
Tony Leon has once again accused the ANC of using the race card to boost its popularity in the eyes of the misinformed and uneducated.
What Leon fails to realise is that more and more people are able to judge for themselves the difference between racism and the race card, thanks to our democratic
system and a free press.
People now have a wide range of tools from which to gain knowledge.
Unlike the days in which the black man was forced to remain quiet about the actual poverty in the country, we are quite capable of understanding the difference between racism and a race card.
The ANC has caught on to this and the use of the race card has been rather limited lately.
What I have noticed, though, is that the ANC has decided to focus on the real issues of racism.
Of course, whenever they do, they're accused of using the evil little race card.
Just dare mention the fact that only 4% of whites are unemployed, compared to 25% of blacks, and we have the evil little race card.
Just mention anything related to the fair distribution of jobs based on the fact that 80% of the population is of darker hue, and we have the evil little race card.
Why does Tony Leon love his little "ANC race card"? Simple.
It's the DA's most reliable weapon, its own little race card, with which it can manipulate the fairer and more honourable of our delightful little nation.
In short, Leon contributes more to race divisions than he cares to admit.
It's surprising how the man can, with moral conviction, use a slogan like "Keep the ANC out" or "Let's stop South Africa from turning into the next Zimbabwe", and still have time to accuse my government of creating racial divisions.
Mr Leon, the black man isn't as stupid as you make him out to be.
My people, the coloureds, have also been party to this mentality of the evil black man, and I ask of them, please do not vote for a party that feeds off the idea of the
inferior black man.
By supporting such a view, you are also justifying the idea of the inferior coloured person.
